DECK THE HALLS

Week 1: LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS

Lights—There’s something so peaceful about sitting quietly in your living room with only the lights of the Christmas tree on. It’s also really fun to drive at night when it seems like every house on the street is decked out with lights. It makes you feel full of joy and ready to celebrate. John 1 talks about how Jesus came to bring light to everyone and illuminate the darkness. In this session, kids will discover just how light brings peace and joy to dark places. We celebrate Jesus coming to be the Light for this dark world. Because of the light of Jesus in us, we can be a light to those around us too.

Faith Verse: John 1:14 (NLT)

The Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.

Solid Rock Singers

Students! - Come and join the Solid Rock Singers, starting November 16th, during second service. This is a great opportunity to connect with other students, through music. The Solid Rock Singers will be presenting during offering/announcements on December 21st. All student ages are welcome to participate.

Rehearsals begin November 16th - during second service and will shift to taking place after Sunday Morning service Nov. 23rd - Dec. 14th.
